Crabby Candle Co/Dutch Candle Co Round Robin

Hello again!

Today I have another vendor RR to share, and this time it was hosted by John, the owner of Crabby Candle Co/Dutch Candle Co. There were I think 5 or 6 boxes going around between about eighteen girls, and I was first up for box #3! I don't show my put backs for RR's since it's done and over, so let's take a took at what I took out, shall we? *Note: Jeff has been getting into wax more lately, and helped pick out some of these. I'll let you know which ones are his :P*

1 ounce scent shots

Citrus Bubblegum: A really unique blend, I've never seen this from any other vendor! It smells so sweet and awesome, I get the realistic bubblegum scent in there along with a nice citrus note. Really fun!

Blue Lime: I mostly get a crazy strong, almost sickeningly sweet lime note in here, but not much of anything else. I wonder if the blue is supposed to be blue sugar? I was intrigued so I had to snag this one.

Pink Peppermint: I didn't avoid snagging the classic go-to scents either. This one is pretty self explanatory. 

Sweet Potato Pie: This is a Jeff pick! This is my first sweet potato pie scent, and I love it! A spicy, sweet bakery scent. Really, really yum!  I can't wait to melt this one!

Lime Bubblegum: Another really unique bubblegum blend I'd never smelled before! Really nice and strong. I love getting introduced to blends that are new to your nose!

Bailey's In Bed: Another Jeff pick! This not only smells like Bailey's Irish creme, but it also smells like a nice, sweet coffee scent as well. This will be a great morning melt!

Raspberry Lemonade: This is one scent I didn't get a chance to snag during Carol's reopening, so I'm happy to have a chance to try it out now! Really tart, fresh, and citrus-y. Yum!

Apple & Clover: I really like apple scents, and this one is really nice! There were a lot of apple scents in the box, so I thought I'd take one.

Serendipity: This is an absolute favorite scent EVER for me, so this was a no brainer! John's serendipity scent is really, really nice!

Hello, Sugar!: I was really, really excited that this was in the box! I got this as a sample from Carol a while back and fell in love. A nice, sugary lemon scent. Almost clean, mostly bakery. YUM!

Blueberry Cheesecake: This was a Jeff pic! John's blueberry cheesecake is crazy good, crazy strong, and nice and creamy! Bonus? I LOVE the tie dye look to the scent shot!

Fruity Rings: Nothing special to this scent, but you know me and fruit loops scents! I can't get enough! 

Pink Lemon Squares: This is hands down my favorite scent from John, so I was banking it all on there being a 2 ounce scent shot in there! Thank goodness there was! This scent is so perfect and so strong. LOOOOOOVE.

Little Squares

Day At The Spa: I took this box out of the mail with a gift in mind, these clean spa scents aren't really my thing at all.

Adam & Eve: I'm learning that I actually really like blue sugar scents! This is a GREAT blend of pink and blue sugar. LOVE! I need more of these blends for SURE!

Fruity Skittles: John's Skittles scents is simply amazing, it smells just like a freshly opened bag of the famous candy. This one is really, really great!

Apple Mango Tango: Another Jeff pic! I have a sample of this Gain scent from Carol as well and I really enjoy it! Very strong on cold!

Blue Sugar: I need more blue sugar in my life. Plain and simple!

What I've Been Melting #11

Hey there, everyone!

Today is my "get caught up on blogging, reading blogs, and watching my wax-y YouTube videos" day! My fiance had surgery yesterday (his gall bladder removed) so while he chills at home to rest, as will I! I've been melting a pretty good amount, which is great since I'm trying to get through a good chunk of my stash during this summer while on my wax ban. (I've almost failed a hundred times and I definitely caved and entered the raffles on FB for RG & SMT lots. I never win anything, so I'm sure I won't break my wax ban.) Here's what I melted the last week!

Lil' Kitchen Candles: Frosted Blueberry Biscuits - I'm sad to start melting my LKC since they're out of business, but I don't want the wax to go bad! This is the most unique blueberry scent I've ever smelled! It has a power-y sugar note to it as Jacqui put once, and a tart candy note in there as well. I like it a lot, but Jeff HATES it. I'll just melt it when he's not around. :P Melted three adorable little Hello Kitty shapes in my 18 watt hot plate, it was pretty strong and had a solid medium throw. 

CFTKR: Glazed Donuts - Such a favorite of mine! I've reviewed it before so I won't get into much detail other than to say this is such a light, relaxing scent to me!

Lasting Scent Candles: Vanilla Voo Doo - Jeff's parents stayed with us last weekend, and since his mom loves vanilla scents (I bought her a warmer and wax for Christmas - now she's addicted!) This is a really light, herbal vanilla and it was surprisingly strong in my 20 watt light bulb warmer. Lasted all day!

Niki's Wax: Lavender Coconut Milk - I got this in Tonya's RR and I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this one at first? Her lavender is a REALLY strong laundry lavender, which I normally don't like. To my shock, I think I have discovered I like lavender laundry scents! Heck, I love FP's lavender! It only melted one little square it was so strong I had to turn it off and open my bedroom door LOL! This isn't so much of a bedtime scent for me, as a cleaning day scent. I'll need to pick up CFTKR's Lavender Laundry scent sometime!

Kissing Booth: After Church: The Little Ones - *sigh* I'm so up and down with KB. I love some, and I'm "eh" about others. This is one that I had such high hopes for! The concept behind this is so cool, but I agree with Jesse on one of her YouTube videos, I wish the bottom were the fruit punch and I wish the top was the graham cracker. I melted two cubes in my 18 watt hot plate and got really almost nothing. Light scent, light throw. I really want this one to work! I'm going to try it in my 24 watt next time. 

Kims: Pink Sugar - Well, Kims - I was totally shocked by this one - I LOVED this scent! I melted two tarts in my 18 watt hot plate. It was crazy strong, I love her pink sugar scent, and it lasted FOREVER! On and off for two days! I was so shocked! I'm going to have to melt more of my Kims and see if they are great as well! I think I was melting them in my bulb warmers before, but now I really like them in my tea-light & hot plates. Color me impressed!

SMT: Campfire Treats - This is Jeff's most favorite scent I've never melted in front of him before. This time I melted the other half of my HUGE chunk from Jacqui, and both times he literally sticks his face in the warmer cause he loves it so much! This is a blend of chocolate, graham cracker, and marshmallow. SO STRONG! I don't know when SMT is opening again, but I'll tell you what, I'm getting as much as I can afford! Lasted about two days on and off in my 24 watt hot plate. 

Sugar Pie Scents: Key Lime Pie - LOOOOOOOOOVE this one! OMG, one of the best KLP scents I've come across yet! This is a new to me vendor, and I picked this up in a RR. So strong, lasted for the whole night, and I'm sp impressed. Once my wax ban is over, it's time to order from Sugar Pie Scents! 18 watt hot plate. 

CFTKR: Blue Hawaiian - I finally scored a bag from my last order, which meant I could finally melt the sampled I've been hoarding! I LOVE Blue Hawaiian scents, and this cult classic is so awesome! Didn't last quite as long as I'd wanted, but I loved it and it strong. 

CFTKR: Iced Sugar Cookies - I absolutely adore Carol's cookie scents. I've been plotting my next order (I have a wish list going although I'm on a wax ban till August LOL!) This one was really nice, a little light than other cookie scents I've melted, but really great. Melted in my 24 watt.

B&BW: Coconut Leaves - So I've decided two things: a) I'm done buying candles. They are nothing to me compared to tarts & warmers. (Although I'm not ruling out B&BW's 3 wicks.) & b) I'm not going to show any candles until I melt them all the way. These little mini ones suck pretty bad to me, so I'm trying to get through them. I melted this is my bathroom. Light coconut scent. 

White Barn: Frosted Cupcake - This is another one that was just okay. I melted this in my kitchen and it had really light throw and a really, really smoky smell to it. 

B&BW: Twisted Peppermint - Now this one wasn't such a disappointment! I love peppermint and candy cane scents and this has always been a favorite. This actually filled my bathroom and I was really happy with it. I love the lotion and body products for this as well!

iheartwax: Banana Bubblegum - This was a really, really gorgeous yellow & pink chunk with glitters that I took out of a RR. THIS WAS FLIPPIN AMAZING! Soooooooo strong, and it lasted FOREVER! I get a tab more bubblegum than banana, bit it's perfect. I'll be ordering this from Audra next time I place an order for sure!

Closet Full Of Wax: Amish Friendship Bread - This is another I got from a RR. Like any new(er) vendors, they only get better with age! Michele's wax is amazing now, but some of her newer wax had really no throw or scent. I threw in both tarts and got really nothing but a faint coffee scent? 

Rose Girls: Vanilla Streusel Coffee Cake - Oh my goodness I'm in love. I only have I think two chunks left and I'll be hoarding them until I order another bag in July. I love RG's vanilla/VBN scents, and this is just fantastic! You get the creamy vanilla and the cinnamon bakery notes perfectly in here. Home run! Melted in my 24 watt hot plate and it lasted all night!

HHS: Granma's Toasted Amish - I had heard so many great things about HHS's gramna blends (they call them crack! LOL!) and now I know why! This is mouth watering! I melted two cinnamon roll shapes in my 24 watt hot plate, and these little bad boys were strong! Lasted all day and even into the next. Awesome.

Kissing Booth: Spumoni - Holy ballz this is another amazing one! This was a tiny little sample from Kelsey, and dang this thing was strong! This is a blend of pistachio, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. I don't know if I'll be placing another KB order anytime soon, but if I did I'd want this one for sure!

Tiffany Candles: Butterscotch Drizzle - I'm sorry, but this was DISGUSTING. I mean BAD. This is her old wax, I got it in a destash. I threw it in my warmer while Jeff's parents were visiting and I think his mom just about puked. Dumped it before the tart could even melt all the way. 

S&S: Snickerdoodle Latte - This was a nice cinnamon bakery scent, but I didn't get much of a coffee/latte note to it. Still really yum, I melted it in the morning! Lasted all threw the day. I love S&S, I wish her wax was easier to obtain! 24 watt hot plate.

RG: Royal Sugar Cookie Noel - Holy cow this was so GOOD! This was a teeny lil chunk from a sampler and it was so strong! So creamy, the cookie note is so dominant! I'm so getting a bag of this when they reopen in July! SO GOOD. Melted in my 24 watt hot plate.

Closet Full Of Wax: Pumpkin Crunch Pie - I melted one of her cute lil teddy bears and I got really nice results with this.A really good spicy pumpkin scent. Lasted maybe three-four hours in my 18 watt hot plate.

Dutch Candle Co: Pink Peppermint - This one fell pretty flat for me. Pretty generic scent honestly, and I didn't get much from it. It was a light scent. Melted in my 18 watt.

Crabby Candle Co: Apple Mango Tango - Holy crapola now THIS one was crazy strong! The little square wasn't even melted all the way and the scent was pouring from my bedroom. I love takes on this Gain laundry scent, and this is a great one. 18 watt hot plate. 

Heavenleigh Apothecary: Strawberry Blackberry Bread - OOOMMMGGG! This one is almost too amazing for words. Two little bread pieces, melted together the filled my entire apartment! I'm devastated that I'm on a wax ban, cause I want need this in bulk. MASS BULK. Lasted forever, was strong, was a phenomenal scent. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE.

TBG: Faerie Bonfire - This is one from Shannon that I'd been dying to try, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw this in a RR! This is a blend of leaves, vanilla, sandalwood, and brown sugar. AKA a great scent for fall! I melted this and enjoyed it, but it just didn't fit with the hot weather. I'll be saving this for the fall. Melted one cube in my 18 watt hot plate.

CFTKR: Peppermint Bark - This one is pretty self explanatory. Jeff loves chocolate peppermint scents and dang this one was STRONG! Melted in my 18 watt hot plate.

Up The Creek haul

Hello again!

Today I have a new to me vendor to share, Up The Creek Scents to share! Now I know, I know, I'm not ordering from any new vendors for the rest of the summer, but I had already placed a few orders prior to me making that decision. I had heard so much buzz about Shannon's wax, and now I know what it's all about! She's currently closed, but once she opens checker her out! She's sweet as can be, great customer service, and great prices! Here's what I got! 

Watermelon Punch (brittle) - Wowza, this is a great watermelon scent! Smells just like watermelon Laffy Taffy or Bubblicious to me. So sweet and mouth watering, I cannot wait to melt this one!

Coco Mango (brittle) - I wanted to  try to get more tropical scents in my stash, so I picked up this one. I like this one, but I'm not sure I love it quite yet. I love the coconut note, but I can't put my finger on the mango yet. I gave some to a friend and she loved it, so I can't wait to see what the fuss is about. 

Peppermint Mallow Serendipity Bread (brittle) - Oh my goodness I'm so exited over both of these serendipity bread blends! This one is so amazing! You get the bread note, (not yeast-y!) serendipity, and the peppermint notes in perfect harmony. I would have never though of this blend, and I can't believe more vendors don't offer this. I'm in LOVE!

Lemon Marshmallow Serendipity Bread (scoopable) - This is my hands down favorite of the order and it's the most amazing blend! Lemon bread is a favorite scent from any vendor, really, adding the lightness of marshmallow and serendipity just make this a match made in Heaven. I cannot wait til this bad boy cures. Note: This scoopable is really hard. I don't care since it'll all melt the same, but it's not a soft wax at all. Who cares when something smells this good though, right?!

Vanilla Bean Noel (freebie) - This one is pretty self explanatory, but who can get enough of VBN?!

Berry Zucchini Noel Bread (freebie) - This is a really yummy blend here! For the berry notes I get more of a blueberry scent, which is so yum! Shannon's zucchini scent is nice and creamy as well. I really enjoy this!

Sugar & Spice Gourmet Soy Candles haul(s) #2 & #3

We meet again!

Today I have my second and third hauls from Sugar & Spice Gourmet Soy Candles to share! I LOVE Shanna's wax, but ever since she went RTS only, it's been such a rat race for her wax that I find it easy to take a step back, let the craziness ensue, and see what's left over. These times I really lucked out! I found some great scents, those of which most were the last of. I had thought I ordered two Pina Colada's but I didn't recheck my order when I hit submit. I emailed Shanna as to how to add them on, and she was so kind enough to add them on as my freebies! Thank you, Shanna! Here's what I got - 

Wildberry Mousse Fluff Cake: I think I'm one of the only people out there who just doesn't like wildberry mousse scents. I WANT to like these scents, so I've always been trying them out from one vendor here & there with little to no luck. My persistence paid off - I LOVE THIS ONE! The creamy, light bakery notes in here is what I think really makes it. I'm in love. I'll be getting more wildberry mousse from Shanna in the future for sure!

Pineapple Peach Margarita: YUM! I get the peach and pineapple blended perfectly together in this one! So good! 

Strawberry Pina Colada: Really yum strawberry scent, but I don't get any pina colada on cold sniff, just strawberry. I hope it will come out more, I love me some pina colada scents!

Summer Fresh: Another favorite from this order! This is a blend of watermelon, lemonade, and tomato leaf. AKA pure amazing-ness! This really is an insanely fresh scent as the name suggests. I cannot wait to melt this one, but I may be hoarding it until I get more. Really, really, really great!

Cotton Candy: Who can go wrong with a nice cotton candy scent? This one is a little light on cold sniff, but most cotton candy scents can be. 

Lollipop Cake: I wasn't sure if I was going to like lollipop bakery scents the first time I got one from BSF, but they really aren't too sweet! I mean they are REALLY, REALLY sweet, but in a really great way I now realize. I like this one a lot!

Pina Colada x 2 (freebies): I can smell the summer getting here in the air in Virginia Beach, so I've just been gravitating toward pineapple/pina colada scents. These smell SO GOOD, I'm so glad I have two! 

Lavender Peppermint Sugar Cookie Dough Bread - Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum! I love this scent from any vendor really, and this is a great version! Cannot wait to melt this at bedtime!

Pink Noel - Who can go wrong with pink sugar and vanilla bean noel?! Shanna's PS is STRONG and fantastic - I'm in love with this, one of the best I've smelled! I hope I can snag more when she reopens in the fall. I might be hoarding this until then. :P

Cinnabun Ice Cream - I was so excited about this one and I had all the reason to be! THIS. IS. AMAAAAAAAAZING. The best cinnabun scent I've smelled yet, I'm going to cry when this is gone. It's perfect. LOOOOVE!!!

Pineapple Strawberry Cake - This one's pretty good, but not exactly a favorite. The strawberry is the dominant note, but I do smell a little pineapple  in there. I'll let this cure to see if it comes out more.

Heavenly Honeydew - Another favorite right here! I don't have a lot of honeydew scents, and I had heard in a YouTube video how good this was. IT IIIIIIIS! This is just amazing - and strong! I could smell this scent shot alone when I opened the box. So juicy! Love!

Strawberry Serendipity - This is a favorite blend of mine from any vendor and this one is really great!

Herbal Essences - I just knew that I had to have this one! I've been using Herbal Essence since I was a teenager and this smells just like the original bottles. Really great!

Strawberry Banana Cream Pie - I had melted another strawberry banana scent from Shanna, and this one is just as great! She has amazing banana anything! 

I can't wait until Shanna restocks this fall!

What I've Been Melting #10

Hey there, girls!

Today I have my tenth addition already of my What I've Been Melting! I started my no buy this week, so I'll be able to start really melting through my wax collection. I decided my no buy will be up on August first. I allowed myself three orders until then: CFTKR (which I already placed), Niki's Wax, and Rosegirls. My will was tested when TBG restocked the other night - I was only able to snag three clam shells in my previous order (she wasn't taking custom orders during that time) so it was HARD! I can do this, though! I've only been into wax for a few months, so I need to get a meltin'! Here's what I melted recently :

CFTKR: Sugar Cookie and Flapjacks - Let's start off this post with an amazing melt, shall we?! This was a light bakery scent on cold throw, but it came TO LIFE when melted! SO STRONG! I was so blow away and excited! Bummer I had already placed my CFTKR order, I would have gotten an 8 ounce bag for sure! Lasted for over 5 hours in my 24 watt hot plate. AMAZING.

TBG: Lavender Apple - Another amazing melt! I melted this last night, and one cube was strong and more than enough! This is such a unique blend thart I'd never seen before, and I'm glad I took a gamble and ordered this one. You get both the sweetness/tart scent of the apple with the soothing scent of lavender. Melted one cube in my 18 watt before bedtime, and this was hella strong! 

The Scented Princess: Strawberry Serendipity scoopable - I was so excited to finally dig into this scoopable! I added this to CFTKR's Serendipity when it started to fade, and this really amped it up! This smelled amazing and pretty strong, I can't wait to melt it again on its own.

Closet Full Of Wax: Fruit Loops - This is my absolute favorite fruit loops scent from any vendor! Michele's is crazy strong and just perfection. I melted the two fluted tarts at once, and it filled my whole apartment! I love it so much you guys! I'm sad since I only have one more twin pack of tarts left to last my until my no buy. If there's two things Michele hits out of the ball park, it's fruit loops and coffee scents. 

HHS: Key Lime Pie - Now it's time for one of the duds of the bunch. I melted this for about three hours, and I got nothin'. I could smell it slightly when I put my head directly over my warmer, so all in all, I was disappointed with this one. Melted in my 24 watt hot plate.

Streetman Candle Company: Cafe au Lait Shake - I got this in my swap with Jacqui, and it's a really soothing coffee scent! I'm obsessed with all things coffee scented, and I like that this one has a nice vanilla tone to it. I'm actually melting this right now, and I get a nice medium/strong throw. Yum!

CFTKR: Serendipity - Carol does serendipity to perfection. Seriously. Perfection. I got this in my sampler a couple orders back, and sometimes serendipity is just so great on its own! I love that her's isn't too overpowering on either the cherry or coconut- the notes are equal! Medium/strong throw in my 24 watt.

CFTKR: Ultimate Serendipity - I was so excited to finally melt this one since I scored an 8 ounce bag in my current order from Carol! (Should be here tomorrow! YAY!) This is Carol's serendipity mixed with her ultimate bakery. This was had a STRONG throw, strong then her serendipity on its own. LOVE this one and can't wait until my big bag gets here!

Front Porch: Pineapple Lime Cake - Holy freaking cow, this is another home run! SO STRONG in my 18 watt hot plate, it drifted all the way from my bedroom into my whole apartment that I turned off what I was melting in my living room! The scent for this one was to die for! Another from my swap from Jacqui, you get the lime as the first note, and the pineapple follows closely behind. I'm done ordering from Angie for the summer, but this will be one I'll order for sure!

SMT: Pink Lavender Sticky Mallow - This one was just okay, the pink sugar note is very, very light and the lavender is very almost bland. I don't get much sweetness of the marshmallow either? I still have one chunk left, so I'm thinking of blending it with a sweet bakery scent next time. 18 watt hot plate.

Little Kitchen Candles: Carnival - I had gotten this in a RR, I took four little hearts out of a big bag. I think it's supposed to be a blend of cotton candy, funnel cake, and candy apple. This was great on cold, and GROSS when melted! I got nothing warm that I smelled cold and all I got was GRAPE! Yep, GRAPE! Dumped it after about two hours.

Niki's Wax: Green Apple Wow!! - Okay, let me just say that I'm in love with this scent. So much so, that I asked Tonya to PRETTY PLEASE remake this for her restock and she said yes! This came in a chunky muffin (think Front Porch) and it was beautiful! The chunks were green (green apple), blue (cotton candy), and I think the white over pour is marshmallow? Tonya said she had to check her notes. :P I melted half the chunk at first, it lasted STRONG for about 5 hours, and I added the other half in my 24 watt hot plate. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. 

SMT: Caramel Sticky Buns Latte - Another amazing home run! This is from Jacqui as well, and OMG is this a perfect Dana scent! I get weak in the knees for anything coffee scented, and this one is almost too amazing for words! I wasn't into wax yet the last time SMT was taking orders, but you better bet I'm ordering a dozen bags of this when I get the chance! The little sticky bun shape with the frosting glaze is too cute, and this little guy was crazy strong! 

Lasting Scent Candles: Pink Ocean Air - I melted this one because it was SO oily! It was actually leaking out of the scent shot! I got this is my pink sampler, and this is a blend of pink sugar and some type of perfume type that I just can't put my finger on! I honestly didn't really enjoy this one very much. It smelled really odd warmed and I don't like really perfume-y scents. Ah well, worth the shot!

Shay'z Scents: Zucchini Pralines - I've finally admitted to myself that I cannot stand praline scents. This smell okay on cold throw, but I hated it when melting! Jeff loved this scent, so I let it melt for a little while but I couldn't take it. One plus? This was my first time melting anything from Shay'z and this was crazy strong in my 24 watt hot plate!

Scentsationals: Hanalei Bay - Jacqui brought this back to me from a trip to Florida - which is great since I've yet to see these summer LE's pop up! Hanalei Bay is a great coconut scent that I actually enjoyed melting it on its own! I melted two cubes in my 18 watt hot plate. So good!

Front Porch: Sweet Lavender Peppermint - I've reviewed this before, so I won't get too into it other then to say it's one of my favorite bedtime scents!

Front Porch: Party Punch - This is such a yummy scent, smells just like Hawaiian Punch! The little grubby was nice and strong in my 18 watt hot plate, and throw was great! 

Rosegirls: Monster Cookie Noel - This was a little too light for my taste, and I melted a pretty big chunk in my 24 watt hot plate. I'm going to chalk this up to my allergies, and try to melt this one again. I'll do another review when I do.

OLC: Blueberry Zinger - On cold sniff this had a strange artificial wax-y smell, and on warm throw I don't think I was very impressed as well. Your typical blueberry scent, but it was pretty strong and the wax-y smell did go away when melting. Did I mention how HUGE these tarts are?! 

TBG: Vintage Circus - I've always loved winter candy apple scents, and that exactly what you smell when melting - although there's supposed to be cotton candy as well. Melted two cubes in my 18 watt hot plate, and the throw was light/medium. I'm going to try it in my 24 watt next time.

FussAss McGee: Alice In Wonderful - I have no idea what's actually in this, but I get a minty, sweet floral? Either way, I loved it! Melted in my 18 watt hot plate, and the scent throw as medium. Really nice!

Granny's Kountry Candles: Vampire's Kiss - I got this in my swap with Shelby, and I got nothing from this one. It smelled so amazing on cold sniff too so I was sad! Maybe it's because it came in the foil wrapper? Melted in my 18 watt hot plate, and I could barely smell this berry scent even sticking my head right over the warmer.

iheartwax: Lemon Berry Fizz - I still can't make up my mind on this one. I have a four pack of grubbies AND two more from Jacqui but there's something about this scent I just can't make up my mind about. It has an almost sour note to it maybe? I'm going to try melting it again and see.

Front Porch: Lemon Ice Cream Scoop Bread - I have a new found love affair with Angie's lemon bread blends. They're crazy amazing, so strong, and something I'm in the mood to melt at any time! These are in her ice cream scoop shapes, so cute! REALLY, REALLY strong in my 24 watt hot plate.

Sweet Fixations: Red Velvet Cake - When I order from this vendor one day, I'll be getting a couple of these for sure! Jeff LOVED this one so much and he rarely says that! This was such an amazing RVC scent, I get smell the cream cheese in there so distinctly! Really, really strong in my 18 watt hot plate, it lasted on and off for over two days. Color my impressed.

iheartwax: Pink Marshmallow Fruit Loops - This is another once I've reviewed once before, so I won't get into it other than to say I still wish this would have been stronger.

Cupcake Candles: Lemon Peppermint Cookie Birthday Cake - This is another blend I came up with on my own - and may I say I did just great?! Their wax is SO STRONG! I have one more order pending with them right now, and I can't wait! This is a great blend, and the peppermint made it a perfect bedtime scent. I melted this for THREE nights! THREE! LOVE!

Niki's Wax Round Robin!

Good Morning! 

Today I have a really exciting Round Robin to share - a vendor Round Robin for Niki's Wax! I really love Niki's Wax - she's on Etsy and her wax has gotten so popular that everything sells out right away when she stocks! You can imagine my excitement when she announced on her FB group page that she wanted to start a RR box with 3-4 ladies, and I got to be one of them! 

I was the last to get the box before sending it back to Tonya, so that's the reason why I took so much of her wax. Trust me, I put more than enough back into the box that I had to cram it closed! I hope she loves everything she got back, this was a great box and is full of great wax! (note: I took doubles of Green Apple Wow!! & Spring Fling as well. The only wax I sent back to Tonya was a laundry scent. I can't stand them and they make me sneeze!) 

Green Apple Wow!! - I was most excited for this one in the box after seeing YouTuber's Jesse's video of the box (she was first). She's always raving about her apple scent, and said this was amazing! Man was she right! I'm actually melting this right now, it's strong and fantastic! Green Apple Wow!! is a blend of green apple, cotton candy, and I think marshmallow. This chunks are huge (think FP) and half was more then enough. I'm in love with this one and can see myself ordering it again and again and again!

Strawberry Vanilla Cookie - This one is so great - but then again who can go wrong with a strawberry cookie scent?! Such a great vanilla cookie scent in here, nice and creamy. A no-brainer in my book! 

Banana Split - I mean, come on, who can go wrong with this one either?! Her banana scent is crazy strong and so good! I'm thinking the other two scents ar strawberry and vanilla ice cream? I'm melting this one this week for sure! Really mouthwatering.

Lavender Coconut Milk - Tonya's lavender is more of a laundry lavender, but mixed with the coconut milk scent it's really nice and calming! This will be perfect for bedtime. Very soothing!

Spring Fling - This ladies, is my absolute favorite from the bunch! I cannot get over how strong is wax is, and this is crazy strong! The scent?! TO DIE FOR!!! A blend of lime and guava, it is the essential summer scent to me! I need about a dozen more bags of this in the future. A new top scent for sure!

FussAss McGee: Fairy Godmother - This is a beautiful scent shot with a heart embed and glitter. A blend of pink sugar for sure, but I can't pin point what else might be in here. Really soothing and soft.

iheartwax: Banana Bubblegum - This one was meant to be! I had been wanting to try this one since my first order from Audra and I forgot to add it to my last order. It was wax fate since this was waiting for me! So amazing, this is everything I knew and wanted it to be. And strong!

SMT: Caramel Marshmallow Cookie Latte - Let's be real - my love for coffee scents has a mind of it's own. I love them, I need them, I can't get enough of them. This, girls, is almost too amazing for words! Whenever SMT opens , I need to order one of every latte scent they have. So stinkin' good.

SMT: Serendipity/ Blackberry Fizz - Another one I just couldn't resist! I love anything serendipity, and this is the first blend I've smelled with a blackberry scent.

The Bathing Garden: Faerie Bonfire - I jumped for joy like a little girl when I saw this one in the box! (And don't worry, I put in a TBG clam shell to replace this one :p) I had been wanting to try this one for a long time, and I couldn't be happier with this scent! A woodsy, earthy scent. I'm not ordering TBG for at least a month (I have over fifteen I haven't started to even melt yet!) but I'm sure I will be ordering more if she offers it.

Shay'z Scents: Plush Purple Cow - I couldn't resist taking this great grape scent! I haven't ever ordered from Shay'z, they few I have are from swaps/RR's. Yum!

BeuxSavonFrais: Loopy Pink Bread - I get mostly fruit loops and not really too much pink sugar - but this is a really great and strong FL scent. The little gingerbread men are too cute as well!

Sugar Pie Scents: Key Lime Pie - I was exited that there were some tarts from this new vendor in there to try! I'm on a wax ban now till the end of the summer (I have a few exceptions though - and none of them are new to me vendors.) so it was nice to get to grab one. Key Lime Pie is a favorite scent of mine and this was is really nice.

Granny's Kountry Candles: Frog Freckles - For more than one reason, I'm not quite sure why I grabbed this one. I didn't have luck at ALL with the last simmering melt I melted from GKC, but I wanted to give one another shot. I normally don't like citrus scents, but this blend of cranberry and citrus really smelled great to me. We'll see!

Facebook Destash!

Hi there!

Today I have a Facebook destash to share with you! This was a bit of a unique destash. She was offering "blind boxes", you picked the vendors you wanted the most of, the scents you liked the most, and your price range (I picked $30 shipping included). All it all, it was pretty cool! I love most of what I got (there were a few older pieces of was that had no scent, but compared to what was great in here I'll take it!) Here's what I got, enjoy!

Wind Chill: OMG this chunky tart is not only a gorgeous piece of art, it smells simply amazing! I told the seller that I am not at all a seasonal melter, so I wouldn't mind one bit fall/winter scents. This is a perfect winter one indeed! It smells just like hot chocolate! You get the mint, chocolate, and marshmallow. Sooooooo good! It's almost too pretty to melt. YUM.

Frosty Pumpkin: A really great pumpkin scent with just the hint of spice. I can never have enough pumpkin scents so I love this one.

Love Spell: This is a dead-on dupe! I loved this scent growing up, and I love it even more now in wax. I can't wait to melt this one.

Alice In Wonderful: I cannot for the life of me pin point the notes in here. Vanilla? Floral? Fruit? I just don't know. Smells good though!

Little Boy Blue: I haven't liked a blue sugar scent until now, but I really like this one! It's lighter then others I've smelled and I think that's why I like it so much.

Bendels Fig Type: Now I've never smelled Henri Bendel candles before, but if they smell this awesome I'll need to check them out! I was excited to see this one in the box since I had seen a fellow wax blogger post how much they loved this scent a few months back. I can't explain this scent other than if you haven't tried it you need to! Earthy and perfume-y but in a warm and not overwhelming way. 

Wood Violet & Sugar Maple: I am not AT ALL a floral person. I love lavender and it ends there. Anything I've ever smelled that's floral makes me pretty much gag. I was nervous when I first saw this one, but it may be a new favorite of mine! I was chatting with Carol on FB, and this is an old bag of tarts - but they still smell phenomenal! She still stocks this scent and I will be ordering more for sure! Nice, earthy scent. LOVE.

Banana Colada: I mean who can go wrong with this scent?! SCORE.

Thankful: A really nice blend of pumpkin pie and other bakery scents. Smells just like the pies from thanksgiving. YUM!

Harvest End: A really nice, complex blend. Carol lists about a dozen things in her scent list, but I mostly get a warm cinnamon autumn scent. I really, really like this one!

The Bathing Garden: Free Wax Tarts - These are adorable little ice cream scoop and lattice pie shapes in a scent I've never smelled from Shannon, I don't know if I really like the scents. They're more of an earthy, perfume-y note.

Yankee Candles: Coconut Bay - I know a lot of you don't like Yankee tarts, but I love them and get great results in my tea-light warmer! This one is a great coconut scent.

Tara's Candle Cottage: Bahama Pineapple Coconut Supreme - Another vendor I've never tried! This smells really great and tropical. Can't wait to melt this one!

Tara's Candle Cottage: Citrus Glazed Pumpkin Carrot Cake - This one smells great, but I'm just a little unsure about the citrus note in here.

Crazy Candle: Fairy Dust - This one is another vendor I've never heard of - this is a sweet, almost soapy scent.

Distinctly Pink

Gingerbread Applesauce: She sent me a huge bag of this so I'm glad I like it LOL! I get the gingerbread and apple scents blended in here equally. It's a true fall scent, but I can see myself melting this all year round.

Coconut Cream Marshmallow: This scent is really, really light but I wasn't surprised based on the scent being a marshmallow/coconut blend - they're both light scents themselves. I'll see when I melt it.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies: This tiny little scent shot packs white the punch on cold sniff! YUM! I like this one.

Coconut Fluff: This will be a great blender!

Gooey Marshmallow: Another great blender!

HHS: Pumpkin Spice Latte - I've already melted this one and was blown away! So strong, so spicy, so yum! Next time I place on order with them, you better bet this will be in there

Bellas: Italian Bread Pudding - I have heard mixed reviews on Bella's, so it was nice to have a scent shot to try them out. This isn't a yeast-y bread scent and I actually like it. 

Bellas: Christmas Cookie - This had absolutely so scent what-so-ever. :/

Granny's: Gingerbread Cinabon - YUM YUM YUM! So spicy, so delicious! I've never really had any Granny's before, so it's nice to try it out.

Bathed Infused: I have no idea what the name of the one is, it's huge though and it smells spa-like. I don't really like those kinds of scents but I know a friend who does!

Granny's: Carrot Cake - Cracked. No Scent. At all. :/

Goose Creek: Gingerbread Crisp - Never heard of this brand before. A little light on cold sniff, but I really want to give it a shot.

Candles By Victoria: Granny's Pie Crust - YUM! This is my first CBV candle and I was so excited to see it in there! Smells really, really great! Once again, YUM!

Red Velvet Cupcake Candle: Never seen this brand before, but it smells just like red velvet cake.

B&BW: French Baguette - A nice, light scent in one of their mini's.
