CFTKR haul #7

Hello again!

Today I have my highly anticipated order from Carol's last reopening! I had plotted this order for a while, and I even placed a teeny second order for ones that I missed. I love Carol's wax so much, she has been and will always be one of my favorite vendors out there! I didn't get everything I wanted, I still have a big wish list for my next order, but I love what I ordered and I'm grateful that I got some of the amazing things I did! Here we go!

Coconut Strawberry Cake: A favorite from this order for SURE! I love pretty much any strawberry scent from Carol. Her strawberry blends are to die for and this one is no exception! So amazing, people! You get her perfect strawberry blended with the perfect amount of coconut cake. Seriously amazing! 

Pistachio Ice Cream: This one is really light on cold throw, but Carol's wax is parafin so I'm not going to go jumping to conclusions here. I have tarts from her that are the same way, and they melt just fine. I've been crazy into pistachio scents lately. 

Blue Hawaiian: IT'S FINALLY MIIIIIIIIINE! I've been obsessed with blue Hawaiian scents lately, and I had been hoarding my sampled for this for months. I finally scored a bag! It has been instantly sold out the last three times I ordered, so I was ecstatic! So amazing, and a cult classic for wax lovers.

Snickers Coffee Blend: I've heard amazing things about Carol's coffee blends, so I knew I had to try some. This is a great snickers coffee blend indeed! Nutty and smooth coffee scent. 

Coffee Ice Cream: Another favorite of this order! This is PERFECT! You get the strong coffee scent that I love (a true coffee scent if you know what I mean!) blended with the creaminess of ice cream. Drool worthy! I can see myself reordering this again and again and again!

Iced Sugar Cookie: I adore Carol's cookie scents, so I really wanted to try this one! Nice, creamy sugar cookie scent that I really enjoy. Really good!

Serendipity Noel: This is one of my favorite serendipity blends of Carol! Which is saying a lot since I really do love them all! I had been waiting to score a big bag of this and I'm so happy I did! Serendipity and VBN are a match made in Heaven! If you don't have this one yet, you NEED it!

Jelly Filled Sugar Cookie (freebie): This just jumped onto my "MUST ORDER WITH OUT A DOUBT" wish list for my next order. This is awesome! You get Carol's famous sugar cookie blended with jelly fruit filling. I get almost a wildberry mouse scent? In love. I'll be hoarding this till I get more for sure!

Country Chic (freebie): This is a B&BW type, but I'm just not feeling it. A bit too perfume-y for my nose. I'll pass this along though, I'm sure someone else with love this one.

Pink Fruity & Bright Type (freebie): I'm not sure what this is a dupe of, but I'm unsure of this one as well due to it's perfume-y note. I think I'll pass this one on as well.

Banana Split (freebie): I have Banana Split from FP and I love it, so I was excited to see this one in there! Really yummy banana blend! 

Watermelon Jolly Rancher (freebie): I mean, come on, who doesn't love a good Jolly Rancher scent?! Make is watermelon and I'm sold. Mouth watering and GREAT!

Lemon Lime (freebie): Can't go wrong with these two blended together. Almost a clean lemon/lime scent?

Hawaiian Rainbow Cake (freebie): I almost ordered this one in this order. This one is pretty nice, but I wouldn't say I love it on cold throw. Good, just don't love. I'm excited to melt this though to see what I think!

Banana Berry Crush (freebie): Another awesome sample, this is a blend dominant in banana. You get a hint of berry in there, but mostly banana. A candy banana! Really great!

Cherry Marshmallow Crumble Cake (freebie): I'm not big into cherry scents, so I sent this is someone who really loves them!

CFTKR May 2nd reopening haul!

Hello there again!

Today I have my haul from Carol's (Candles From The Keeping Room) May 2nd reopening! I didn't get nearly as much as I wanted to, but I was as work when she reopened and since the site was crashing, everything I wanted seemed to be in someone else's cart. Ah well, what I did get in my little order is really great so I won't complain! I also got two destashes with tons of CFTKR so I'll be just fine! ;) Here's what I snagged!

Pink Sugar Key Lime Pie: I was crazy excited about this one, I'd never seen this blend from any other vendor before! It's amazing! My fiance loves it too, he's been really involved with my wax lately. I tells me what he likes and sometimes helps me pick out what to melt. <3 He's so cute. You get the tartness of the key lime pie with the undertones of pink sugar. YUM!

Frozen Margarita: Jeff and I are both HUGE fans of Mexican food and margaritas so I was excited to try this new scent from Carol! I don't think it smells like a margarita, more like a tart lime candy maybe? It's not what I wanted it to be, but it's still great! 

Sugar Milk & Cookie: This was the first thing I knew I had to add to my cart when she opened! I had gotten a sample from Jacqui back when she first got me into wax and I fell in love! Every time I would try to order it was sold out. :( Until now! I was able to snag an 8 ounce bag! I love milk scents lately and this is just perfection with sprinkles! 

Strawberry Cookie: What can I say? Carol has the best strawberry scents out there! I always try to snag a bag or two, and man the rush when she reopened left none still available! At least I got one! Such a great strawberry bakery scent. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Serendipity Marshmallow Delight: Jeff LOVED this one! I'll need to get him more, and I agree it's amazing! The marshmallow in here is SO GOOD! 

Tropical Cookie (freebie): I think it's so cute that Carol included little kitty paw shapes & bags from her kitty Garfield! I think it's even better that I got one in the scent Tropical Cookie, I'd been wanting to try this scent and I had actually tried to order this with the reopening! 

Strawberry Dew (freebie): How does Carol just know? After seeing what others had ordered when I started seeing haul videos, I knew I wanted this effervescent strawberry scent. And Carol sent me one! It's soooo good!

Mint Mango Tea (freebie): I'm crazy into tea scents right now, so this was prefect for me! Really nice, fresh and relaxing.

Papaya Guava Mango (freebie): Nice tropical fruity scent.

Creme Brulee Party Cake (freebie): Really nice creme brulee scent! 

Ultimate Bakery Noel Tester (freebie): This is a huge tart! YUM! Rich, creamy, amazing bakery scent! I LOVE this one!

Lime Lifesaver (freebie): Who can go wrong with a lime candy scent?! SO GOOD!

Candles From The Keeping Room (CFTKR) haul #6

Hey there!

I have my latest haul from Candles From The Keeping Room from when Carol restocked right before she closed shop for the next month. I am so sad she's gone for now, but I think I have more then enough to last me through! Here's what I got as my final order for now -

Fruity Loops: I was really excited to see these listed and I was lucky enough to snatch up the last bag! This is a fantastic fruit loops scent, I love it! The rainbow donut shapes are to die for! Really excited to melt these little guys!

Lemon Noel: I have Lemon Cookie Noel, so I knew this would be a home run. And IT IS! Lemon scents are my weakness and a TOP favorite of mine, and Carol's lemon scents are great. 

Cocomilk: This is one I had Carol add to my order mere hours before Carol closed shop. This is such a relaxing coconut milk scent. It might be one of the most relaxing summer scents I've come across yet, it reminds me the beach. Now I can melt my sample that got me hooked.

Vanilla Bean Noel (freebie): I love this cute little gingerbread bunny shape, I have a few now! A fantastic vanilla bean noel scent, this will be perfect for blending. 

Lemon Meringue (freebie): I'm really excited that Carol sent me more lemon samples! She's sneaky though and knows what she's doing, man. I always ended up ordering more wax due to falling in love with her samples. This is a bright, fresh lemon scent. 

Blue Hawaiian (freebie): OMG I was so excited about this one! I know everyone likes this scent, and I tried to order it when she restocked, but it kept telling me it was in someone else's cart. This scent is perfection for a Spring/Summer scent! There's about a dozen notes listed in the scent description, but I get mainly sweet coconut, vanilla rum and the fruit notes. I cannot WAIT to melt this bad boy!

Iced Lemon Biscotti (freebie): This is such an awesome lemon bakery scent! I need to add this to me wish list for sure!

Floridian Dreams (freebie): I don't really care for this one. I get mostly pineapple notes with coconut, but there's a little something in there that hits my nose wrong. I'll be passing this one on.

Hey there!

I can't stay away from Carol. I just can't. I placed one additional order to this one before she closes for a while. I have definitely stocked up but I'm so sad she'll be gone for a while. :( I really need to start placing larger orders as well, but every time she sends me a free sample I find more I want. It really never ends. 

Honeydew & Whipped Cream: So fresh! I'm trying more fruit scents lately and this one is so refreshing - that's really the only way I can describe it. Love this one!

Watermellon Cotton Candy: Wow this is so sweet and amazing! Smells just like watermellon candy! I love her watermellon, it's juicy and like the previous scent, smells very fresh. Can't wait to melt this one!

Glazed Donuts: I just had to order this one, a great straight up donut scent. A little cinnamon, no jelly - just simple glazed donut. It's such a light bakery scent, I love it! This was the very first thing from CFTKR I ever melted when I Jaqcui sent me that big box of wax that started it all. :)

Cocomilk (freebie): The moment I smelled this I knew I had to hurry up and order it before Carol closed. It's SO AWESOME! From what I've smelled so far, anything that she makes with a milk scent in it is a home run! Such a sweet, summery coconut milk scent. LOVE. 

Berry Spun Sugar (freebie): A very sweet and sugary berry blend, I really like this one and I normally go either way with berry scents. 

Strawberry Whirl (freebie): This is one I tried so hard to order when she restocked  but everyone beat me to it.This is AMAZING! I'm telling you I need every strawberry scent from her in bulk! A mix of strawberry, banana, and vanilla. I'll be cherishing this until I get more for sure!

Pina Colada (freebie) & Coconut Pear (freebie): This are both samples I've gotten in the past that I already did a cold sniff review on.

Candles From The Keeping Room (CFTKR) haul #4

Good Morning, again!

I am seriously addicted to Candles From The Keeping Room. I have two hauls to share this week, and one on the way. I guess it's acceptable since Carol's closing shop for about a month, right? I've heard amazing things about her Strawberry scents, and since I've been wanting to try more fruit scents it seemed like it was time since she restocked last week. Here we go!

Strawberry Milk: Dang, I wasn't wrong about how awesome her strawberry scents are! I'm in LOVE! My favorite so far, I can't STAND FP's strawberry. Strawberry Milk her exactly how it sounds, a creamy, fresh strawberry scent. SO AMAZING. After she reopens, it will be my goal to stock up on as much strawberry as I can.

Fresh Picked Strawberry's: This is the one that made me want to order her strawberry scents! I had heard so many bloggers/YouTubers rave about it and man were they right! It's simply amazing! I'm melting in right now actually, and my apartment smells fantastic. I need a couple of 8 ounce bags when she reopens for sure.

Burnt Cream: An amazing creme brulee scent, I just can't get enough of it! You get both the creamy and burnt notes in it. So great.

Orange Cream Cupcake (freebie): I'm still a little unsure about orange scents. Which is funny, the few that I have have all been samples from vendors. I really like this one, though. I like orange/cream scents a lot more then straight up orange. I also adore the big bunny shape, I'll get two uses for sure.

Raspberry Bear Claw (freebie): I think the raspberry is definitely the stronger note in this one, I get bakery notes I'm just not sure if I necessarily get bear claw exactly though. I'm not big on raspberry though, I think I'll be passing this one on to a new home.

Pina Colada (freebie): CAROL. Your pina colada is amazing! This is so ripe, juicy, and makes my mouth water! I'm so lucky I got two samples in my recent orders. I'm not huge on tropical/summer scents,but this one really wowed me.

Farmhouse Treats (freebie): Another one I need to order from Carol eventually. This is so yummy, you get notes of a delicious kitchen baking that I really, really enjoy. Can't wait to melt this one.

Hey Sugar (freebie): Another really nice one! A great lemon scent, to me it's more of a clean lemon scent then bakery. YUM!

Candles From The Keeping Room (CFTKR) teeny haul #3

Good Morning!

This is a quick, teeny tiny haul I have to share with you. Carol sent me a sample of Banana Flapjacks, and I new I had to have it. To say I need to go on a wax ban for a little bit here is an understatement. I've only been into wax for about a month and I don't WANT to think about how much I've spent LOL! Crazy thing is I have a list a mile long of vendors I still want to order from! I'm going on vacation next week, so I'm cutting myself off. (I got my tax refund as well. One guess for what I used some of that money for? hehe...) It'll be like Christmas to see what packages I'll come home to! Time for the wax! 

Purple Cow: I just had to. I really enjoy grape scents and this one is all I knew it would be! Carol describes it as a purple Popsicle with vanilla ice-cream. I love it! The grape isn't in-your-face like other grapes scents I have, and I like the lightness the vanilla adds. Can't wait to melt this one!

Banana Flapjacks: I've already talked about this one a few times, so you know great I think it is! Can't wait to melt this more! So YUM!

Banana Caramel Cupcake (freebie): I love that she sent me two banana scents to go along with my order, that's so sweet of her to base my samples off my order! These two are very similar, but this one has a stronger hint of caramel. Carol has great banana scents. 

Caramelized Banana Cake (freebie): Another banana home run! Really great. Thank goodness I have a 4 ounce bag as well! 

Birthday Cake (freebie): This is a really nice classic birthday cake scent, and I know someone who I'm going to send this to! Very, very nice.

Coconut Pear (freebie): I don't know what to think of this one. I get a little coconut, but no pear that I can smell, just an odd smell I can't place. I think I'll be passing this along as well.

What I've Been Melting #2

Hello there!

Today I have my second What I've Been Melting post to share! I feel like I haven't been melting that much since everything I've been melting has been lasting forever! That's a good thing of course, but I have been ordering so much wax that I need to get melting! Here we go!

Better Homes and Gardens: Sugar Sweet Gumdrops - I really wasn't sure if I was going to like this one, but I really enjoyed it! Since I just got into wax, I missed all of the fun holiday scents that came out over the winter. I found a lot on eBay and this one was included. It smells EXACTLY like spice drops candy, I couldn't believe how right on the money it was! I melted two cubes in my 18 watt, medium throw. My bedroom smelled delicious for the entire evening! 

CFTKR: Pink Sugared Serendipity - This is yet another reason why CFTKR is probably my top vendor. This one is just as amazing as I knew it would be. I really wish I would have ordered an 8 ounce bag! I have fallen in love with serendipity scents, and adding pink sugar just made this combo a match made in Heaven. I'm actually melting this right now as I type this, throw is medium/strong and I've been melting it on and off for two days now in my tea-light burner - still going strong!

Closet Full Of Wax: Cinnamon Doughnut - I'm torn on this one. I have a whole bag of the mini doughnuts and I loved this on cold sniff so I hope I can find the right blend the next time! I melted one fluted tart in my living room and was melting Coffee Cake Swirl by Scentsationals in my bedroom earlier, so I think there was just WAY too much cinnamon going on in our lil apartment. I really want to try melting this by itself, the cinnamon scent is so strong on the warm throw with this one. 

Front Porch: Amish Friendship Bread - This is such a GREAT bakery scent! I am so in love, so creamy and sweet. I've never smelled any other Amish friendship bread scent before, but I love this one! I don't see it available on their site as of now, but you better bet I'm snatching up a four pack or two when it is! Great scent throw, melted in my 18 watt. Lasted the whole day.

CFTKR: Banana Flapjacks - This is a free sample that the generous Carol sent me, and I immediately ordered a bag from her after melting this bad boy. I love banana scents, they're one of my favorites! You get the strong banana and the bakery notes of the flapjacks. Nice, strong throw and it lasted the evening. Really love this one!

Ten Digit Creations: Lavender - This, ladies, is the perfect lavender scent. Ever. My heart is breaking that this is no longer available. I'll be cherishing every last tart! I don't like floral scents AT ALL, but lavender has always been the one exception. TDC's lavender is a nice herbal one, the perfect kind in my opinion! The cold throw on this was so strong, so I knew that I only needed to melt a half of a tart. Man I was right! I melted the half in my bedroom at bedtime and I was such a relaxing scent! I hope they either bring this back or I find another herbal lavender as nice as this. 

Scentsationals: Guava Berry - Now this is interesting to me! I've NEVER really like berry scents. I think over the years I've come across a few, but nothing that's memorable. I got this one in a destash, and I was really surprised that I actually wanted to melt this one! I melted only one cube to test the water in my 18 watt, and this had a very fresh scent. I never would have chosen this for myself, but it's really nice.

CFTKR: Frosted Lime Cookie Snap - HOLY COW I'M IN LOVE! Ugh, Carol needs to restock soon, my wish list of scents that aren't available right now is just growing! This is yet another one the lovely Jacqui sent me, and I was saving it just because it smelled so amazing on cold throw! I was right, this is AWESOME! I adore lime and lemon bakery scents. This is perfect. PERFECT. Throw was amazing, it filled my whole apartment, and it lasted on and off for two days.

Better Homes and Garden: Creamy Spiced Eggnog - This is another that I got in that eBay haul, and this one was unfortunately a miss for me. Jeff loves eggnog, so I melted it for him, but even he didn't enjoy it. I melted two cubes in my 18 watt. It had a awkward nuttiness to the scent that just didn't smell good to us. This is going to a much better home, I know someone who would like this.

CFTKR: Coconut Caramel Crunch Cake - I need to re-melt this one. I haven't had a 24 watt hot plate until now, even though I knew I needed one. I just ordered an adorable one from Haley's Heavenly Scents. I wasn't very smart when I melted this one. my tea-light burner had another scent going in it, so I melted this in my 20 watt light bulb and got no throw at all unless I had my head right over it. I'll be re-reviewing it after I get my 24 watt in the mail. The cold throw is light on this one, but I still have hopes it'll come alive!

Yankee Candle: Spiced Pumpkin - Yuck, yuck, yuck. This is the lone pumpkin scent I think I've ever come across that is so gross. The spice in there is just not something I like AT ALL. Strong clove maybe? I melted it in my tea-light and had to dump it right away. YUCK.

COMBO - Closet Full Of Wax: Fruit Loops & Scentsationals: Lemon Chiffon - I've said it before in my Closet Full Of Wax hauls, I'm obsessed with Michele's Fruit Loop scent. It's so amazing, I can't sing it's praised enough! I melted two tarts in my 20 watt, and added one cube of Scentsationals Lemon Chiffon. I am in love with this combo, so glad I'm stocked up on both. SO STRONG, and lasted on and off for THREE DAYS. This is my to-go scent for sure. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Candles From The Keeping Room (CFTKR) small haul #2

Hello again!

Candles From The Keeping Room is so amazing. I know I said it before for in the past post my love for Carol's wax, but she is one of my favorites if not my favorite vendor out there. I swear, I always find reasons to place another order from her. I could sit there on her site all day, and STILL find more the next day I wish I had ordered. Her prices are amazing, she has the BEST customer service, and to say her free samples are generous is an understatement. Last but not least let's not forget how amazing her wax is! I am addicted LOL! Here's what I ordered for my second little haul.

Peaches and Cream: I am SO happy I got this one! I love peach scents, and this one is just awesome! (Not to mention the pie shape is just adorable!) The sweetness of the peaches and the lightness of the cream are a match made in Heaven! I wish I had gotten the bigger bag! Can't wait to melt. Go great.

Pink Sugared Serendipity: This one is pretty self explanatory but SO amazing! I really love her serendipity, it has the perfect blend of the cherry and coconut notes. Mixed with the pink sugar, I'm in love! Another I can't wait to melt! (I actually think I want to melt this now!)

Crunch Berry Crisp: When I saw this one, I knew I had to try it! My mind automatically goes to the cereal, but this is different to me. You get the smooth berry, and the crunch/crisp note is definitely in here - I think it'll come out more when melted. Really nice.

Burnt Cream (freebie): HOLY FREAKIN' COW! I don't know how to describe this other than HOLY COW! I didn't think I would like it from the name, but it's fantastic! It's so hard to describe - maybe creme brulee? I'm not sure but I know I'm in love! The gingerbread bunny shape is too cute as well! It's a pretty big tart, I hope I can get two uses!

Strawberry Flapjacks (freebie): Another great flapjacks scent! I normally don't care for strawberry scents, but I really love this one! You get the strawberry, the flapjacks, and the hint of maple. Really great.

Serendipity Marshmallow Delight (freebie): I've heard so many good things about this scent and now I know why! I already said I love Carol's serendipity, so add marshmallow and I'm in! I think this is another I can put on my need-to-order list. I'm telling you, it never ends. ;p

Peach Cobbler (freebie): Another great peach scent! I this one is AWESOME! (Yet another one I need to order now. Carol should just take my paycheck.) The peach scent in this one is much stronger then the peach in Peaches and Cream, less bakery. SO YUM. I cannot wait to melt!

Blueberry Fluff (freebie): Another adorable bunny shape! So cute! This is one I'm not crazy about. I think blueberry scents, but they have to be blueberry bakery scents. This is just too straight up blueberry for me. This will be going to a better home.

Candles From The Keeping Room (CFTKR) haul #1

Hello again!

Today I have the very first Candles From The Keeping Room order I ever placed to share! I think this may be the most addictive vendor I have come across yet. I just received my second order and I have already placed a third. I seriously feel like there are always more that I want to order from Carol! Her stuff is so addictive and she is so generous with her samples. Onto the wax!

Coconut Caramel Crunch Cake: I was half asleep when I placed my last order and I accidentally ordered an 8 ounce bag of this instead of my favorite so far, Lemon Noel Sugar Cookies. Which really stinks since it's sold out now. Ah well, there's always next time and I have more then enough wax in the meantime! Coconut Caramel Crunch Cake made me nervous at first since on cold sniff it wasn't very strong. I re-sniffed the bag today and I SWEAR it got stronger in the last week or so. This smells so good! You get the light coconut, the creamy caramel and that crunch note is so distinct in there! I cannot wait to melt this one! 

Banana Caramel Cupcake: This is seriously mouth-watering. I really love Carol's banana scents, I have a bag of Banana Flapjacks on their way right now. :) The banana in there is so rich and strong, and the cupcake bakery notes just make it all the more delicious. So awesome. I seriously cannot wait to melt these. Jeff loves this too, I'll have to melt this when he's home. A repurchase without a doubt. 

Lemon Noel Sugar Cookies: This is probably my favorite CFTKR scent so far. Trust me, a lot come close, but this is just perfection to my nose! I would buy this over and over and over again. I will be rationing these until I get more. I love that this time around these little cookies have rainbow sprinkles. So cute!

Caramel Praline Indian Bread (freebie): I seriously adore caramel praline scents, so I was really excited about this one! The loaf is huge as well, I'd say there's two uses in there. I'm slightly on the fence with this one, the bread note is so strong and it's more of a straight up bread note. I really want to melt this soon to see how I like it.

Banana Flapjacks (freebie): This one is so great! After I started melting this I immediately ordered a bag. It's that good, and Jeff and I both love banana scents. The maple-y bakery notes in there for the flapjacks are so delicious!  I'll be doing a melt review on this very soon. Will always be a repurchase.

Raspberry Coconut Cake (freebie): This is awesome! I really think I'm taking back my previous notion that I don't like raspberry scents. I never did in the past, but there's been a couple I've come across that I've really liked! This is a fantastic blend of raspberry and coconut with bakery notes. I still haven't melted this yet, but if it if it's this great already on cold throw I will repurchase for sure! LOVE.

Nectarine & Honey: I decided last minute in my order to throw in a jumbo tart for two bucks. I don't really like this one. There's the strong nectarine scent with the note of honey, but there's a strange perfume note in there I'm just not fond of. I will probably be finding this one a new home.

Island Oasis (freebie): What a fantastic summer scent! A sunny coconut scent with hints of citrus and pineapple that I just love! I cannot WAIT to melt this one once the weather gets a little warmer. 

Berry Bellini (freebie): This one I'm a little on the fence about. The tart berry notes might be just a little too much for me. I'm thinking about possibly blending this one. I LOVE the bunny shape! 

Pineapple Cilantro (freebie): This is exactly what it sounds like! And the pineapple is so strong and juicy! DELICIOUS! This might be the perfect pineapple scent. Can't wait to melt it.

Exotic Passion Fruit (freebie): I don't think I'm a passion fruit kinda girl. I don't really dislike this one, but I can't see myself reaching for this to melt it. I might pass this one on to a new home.

Mint 2 Sampler #11

Peppermint Patty: OMG this is just amazing! After coming across peppermint chocolate scents, Jeff and I have decided that we LOVE melting them at bedtime in our bedroom. I have quite a few on their way right now. So GOOD!

Buttermint: This one was okay, mint with buttery notes. I liked it, but I needed to blend it to get it to where I wanted it to be.

Peppermint Cake Bites: This is AWESOME! The peppermint and bakery cake notes are blended perfectly together, it's so good! I'll be so sad when I finally melt it! Repurchase for SURE! 

Eucalyptus Spearmint: This is such a clean, fresh, relaxing mint. I think this will be perfect for bedtime! LOVE.

Peppermint Bark: OMG this is amazing! AH-MAZ-ING! Smells exactly like the real stuff to a T! I almost want to eat this wax! :D Cannot wait to melt.

Hot Chocolate Peppermint: This isn't quite as amazing as Peppermint Patty and Peppermint Bark, but it's still great! The chocolate has a much softer scent in this one.

What I've been melting #1

Hello there again! 

Today I have my very first What I've been melting post! I've started a melting journal to write down what I've been melting so I'm really excited to get this started! Here we go!

Lasting Scent Candles: Pumpkin Cinnamon Danish - This was the very first thing that I melted when I got that big box of wax from Jacqui! Trust me, it was hard to pick the first! I have always had a pumpkin scent obsession and I REALLY enjoy LSC's pumkin! The creaminess of the pumpkin and the bakery notes made this so great. Melted in my tea light burner and the scent lasted forever! Medium/strong throw. I'm saving my last two LSC pumpkin scents since I love them so much!

Sweet Fixations: Vanilla Buttercream Crunch - This was really just okay to me. I melted half, it wasn't very strong, and I added the other half. It had nice throw, but the scent didn't wow me. I liked the creaminess of the vanilla buttercream, but I just couldn't get the crunch notes in there. Burned in my 18 watt, it lasted a pretty good amount of time. Light/medium throw.

CFTKR: Amish Cinnamon Bread - I let Jeff pick out the second wax I melt from Jacqui's big ol' box of wax and he LOVED this one! It did not disappoint at all! Melted on my 18 watt in our bedroom and it it filled the entire room and had a strong throw! (Our apartment is pretty small, a price to pay to live right by the ocean!) Not overpowering at all. I love spicy bakery scents like these so much, always have always will! This is definitely a repurchase.

Front Porch: Loopy Marshmallow - OMG OMG OMG. This, ladies, is what spawned my Fruit Loop obsession. I have a serious addiction now LOL! This scent is just perfect. Throw was strong, it filled up our whole apartment! FP's blend is just perfect, the mixture of the fruit loop and marshmallow has me in love! I ordered their Fruit Loop sampler and I can't wait to try them all out! I added one cube of Scentsationals Lemon Chiffon, but I'm saving that bad boy for a review on it's down. Melted in my 20 watt. It was a great combo! Repurchase for SURE, over and over and over! 

Tiffany Candles: Carmelized Pralines - I don't know if this is the old or new wax, but who cares cause it was great! It was everything I hoped it would be! It had a creaminess to it but also a crunchy note to it that I LOVED! I haven'y placed a Tiffany order yet, but this is going on my to order list! Amazing!  Medium throw. Melted in my 18 watt.

Scentsationals: Coconut Macaroon - I melted two cubes in my 20 watt. I don't know why, just not impressed. I love coconut scents but this one had a waxy artificial smell to it. I think I let this melt *maybe* three hours before I dumped it. Light/medium throw. Might be better blended? 

CFTKR: Glazed Cinnamon Donuts - WOWZA! This is so freaking awesome! I need all the cinnamon donut scents thanks to this one! I can't wait to order this is a big bag! It had a light, buttery cinnamon bakery scent with medium/strong throw. Melted in my tea light burner. 

Front Porch: Ultimate Bakery - True love in a bakery scent. That's what I have with this scent. It's so awesome that I reordered two grubby tarts four packs! Such a clean bakery scent, I love the notes of apple in there so much! I can't wait to get more in the mail. Had medium throw, lasted a good amount of time. LOVE! I can see myself ordering this again and again and again. 20 watt.

Orchid Lake Candles: Bread & Jam - Pretty straight forward and pretty amazing! Smells exactly like it sounds. Notes of warm baked bread and notes of a wonderfully tart berry (jam). This is a really fun scent! I would love to get my hands on more. Medium throw. Melted in my 18 watt. 

Ten Digit Creations: Vanilla Shake - What a relaxing, almost herbal vanilla! I don't get any notes in there that would indicate it being a shake scent, but I really enjoyed it. The scent was light but the throw was good. A great bedtime scent. Melted this in my 18 watt in my bedroom.

Lasting Scent Candles: Peppermint Marshmallow Snow - HOLY COW. THIS IS AWESOME. SERIOUSLY AWESOME. Jacqui had this in her top scents list for 2012 and now I know why! I've always really loved peppermint scents and this one is top notch! Perfect strength of peppermint. Amazing throw and it lasted forever! I turned it on and off for a few days actually and it was still ready to go! Melted in my 20 watt. I wish I had about a dozen more.

Lasting Scent Candles : Creamy Pumpkin Milkshake I love the pumpkin scent in here, but something about the milkshake notes hit my nose in a funny way and I wasn't too crazy about it. I also started melting this right before I fell asleep so I didn't get to really spend time smelling it. It was almost completely gone by the time I woke up and was left with mostly a wax-y smell. Melted in my 18 watt.

CFTKR: Lemon Noel Sugar Cookies: WOW. JUST WOW. One of, if not THE best thing I've smelled since I got into wax. Well, lemon bakery scents in general. I can't get enough of them and I couldn't stop raving about this one! CFTKR's lemon scent is perfection and mixed with Vanilla Bean Noel sugar cookies make it the perfect combination! I'm so glad that I just got a new bag from Carol. Lasted FOREVER. Throw was everything I could ask for. Melted in my 20 watt. 

Scentsationals: Vanilla Bean - Yep this was an odd choice for melting alone and not blending it. It's you typical creamy vanilla scent, but I just really wanted a pallet cleanser after everything I had been melting. Melted it in my 18 watt in my bedroom and bedtime. Light scent with light to medium throw.

Sweet Fixations: Lemon Drizzle Bread - O_o I almost have no words. Next to CFTKR Lemon Noel Sugar Cookies, this is one of the best things I've come to smell yet! I got this in a destash, it was only a half tart and MAN was it strong and amazing! I melted this while I had people over and everyone kept saying how much they loved it! I have a couple Sweet Fixations from Jacqui and I can't wait to melt others! (Hello, Red Velvet Cake!) LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. Throw was crazy strong for only a half of a tart and it lasted on and off for a couple days. Melted in my 20 watt.

Tiffany Candles: Winter Dream - Once again, don't know if this is the old or new wax. I can't quite put my finger on this one if I really like it or not. I love the spiciness and the mulberry notes, but for whatever reason I don't love it. I like, I just don't love it. Melted two heart-shaped tarts. Medium throw, lasted the length of an evening. Melted in my 18 watt.

Scentsationals: Coffee Cake Swirl - Run, ladies. RUN to your local Walmart and pick as many of these can you can fit in a shopping cart. This is one of Scentsationals brand new scents that just came out and it's AMAZING. A strong cinnamon but not overpowering along with the bakery notes. Melted two cubes in my 18 watt and it was a REALLY strong throw. Seriously. You need this.
